Rethinking Neurodegeneration – Challenging established paradigms and exploring new paths

Herrenhausen Conference, February 16–18, 2027 ~ Herrenhausen Palace, Hanover, Germany

Neurodegenerative diseases and dementia rank among the greatest medical and societal challenges of our time, yet their complexity continues to defy simple explanations and effective therapies. Growing evidence points to shared mechanisms across neurodegenerative disorders, calling for a fundamental rethinking of how these diseases are understood and studied. Under the title „Rethinking Neurodegeneration – Challenging established paradigms and exploring new paths,“ the Herrenhausen ’27 Conference will provide a forum for bold ideas, interdisciplinary exchange, and novel scientific perspectives spanning molecular biology, genetics, epidemiology, and clinical research. By connecting internationally leading scientists with the next generation of researchers, the conference aims to catalyze new concepts and collaborations that will shape the future of neurodegeneration research.
